Furnace and Air Conditioning Clean & Checks
Denver Air Conditioning Service and Furnace Service
Just as a car needs oil and filter changes your furnace and air conditioner need annual maintenance too. Our furnace and air conditioning preventative annual maintenance services are inexpensive but provide early warning of potential malfunctions and part failures. We can catch problems before they cause an emergency service call in the middle of the night!
With our Furnace Clean & Check we will clean the burners, flame sensor, and accessible areas of the furnace. We change the filter and inspect all electrical components such as the igniter or pilot, capacitors, switches, and motors. We inspect the heat exchanger, blower wheel, blower housing, and evaporative coil to see if there is any need for additional, more in-depth cleaning services. These additional cleaning services are not usually needed unless regular maintenance has been neglected. We perform no additional services without your upfront, expressed written consent.
With our Air Conditioning Clean & Check Service, we will clean the outdoor condenser coil so that heat transfer is at its peak and so your system works the most efficiently. We will inspect the electrical components such as capacitors, contactors, compressors, fan motor, and we will also check for proper refrigerant levels. Many A/C’s can have leaks or be simply not charged correctly in the first place. We will inspect the indoor coil if there are any indications that it may be dirty or obstructed. Additional fees may be charged but not without expressed written consent.
Manual J Load Calculations and Duct Design
We provide Manual J load calculation services and perform them as a courtesy on all of our new installation FREE QUOTES! This calculation is the only accepted method in the industry that will properly size a furnace, boiler, or air conditioner for your home, yet 95% of contractors still do not perform it. Why? It takes some training to learn how to do it and time to calculate, therefore, most companies choose the easy route and guess based off of your square footage. Some simply replace the equipment with the same size you currently have. Most existing systems are 25% to 100% oversized which causes premature part failure and cracked heat exchangers. You don’t want a new version of the same old problems!
Every home is unique in its insulation values, window quality, and orientation. The Manual J incorporates all of these factors to determine exactly how much heat is lost in the winter and how much heat is gained in the summer. Don’t let any contractor tell you that square footage is better! Get the facts and do the research, you will see why it is imperative to find a contractor that will perform a Manual J for your new system.
We also provide duct system design and installation based on Manual J and Manual D specifications and requirements. This is the only way to be sure that every room in your home gets the right air delivery. The Manual D is an engineered duct design made specifically for each room in your home!
